The Opportunity

The 
Professional Architect (Project Manager Focus)
 will serve as the central point of contact and accountability for complex design and construction projects from initiation to closure. This crucial role involves 
overseeing all project stages
, acting as the 
primary liaison
 between clients, external consultants, internal divisions (engineers, contractors) and Citra's internal design units.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered 
successfully, on time, and within budget
 by masterfully coordinating project resources and managing information flow, risk, and quality.

Core Responsibilities (Duties)

• Own the technical documentation process
  , including the preparation and submission of local authority and construction documentation.
• Contribute as an integral part
   of the interdisciplinary design and construction teams.
• Information Management:
   Act as the liaison, communicating project needs (e.g., deliverables) to internal units for resource assignment and tracking completion times.
• Proactively identify
   potential technical design problems, effectively communicating them to the relevant team members for early resolution.
• Drive initiative
   in response to project direction and instruction, taking ownership of tasks to meet project goals.
• Defining Project Scope:
   Work closely with clients to define project goals, objectives, and specific requirements.
• Comprehensive Planning:
   Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline (program), budget, and risk management strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication:
   Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders, providing updates and leading regular project meetings.
• Quality Oversight:
   Oversee the design and construction phases, ensuring alignment with client vision, quality standards, and compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• Have a 
  Master's or equivalent professional degree in Architecture
   and be registered as a 
  Professional Architect
  .
• Proven Experience:
   Demonstrated ability to 
  independently lead and manage
   projects from inception to completion, showcasing excellent project management skills including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Technical Proficiency:
   Be proficient in 
  Revit
  . Knowledge of Rhino and Grasshopper is advantageous.
• Leadership and Communication:
   Possess strong leadership qualities and 
  great interpersonal communication skills
   to effectively coordinate diverse project teams and stakeholders.
• Organisational Acumen:
   Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and budget time effectively.
• Adaptability:
   Have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and technology.
• Language:
   Be fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
• Passion:
   Be passionate about working with alternative building materials and innovative construction methods.
• Experience:
   Experience in international projects is advantageous.

 This is a one-year contract with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment thereafter.
