About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Assistant Manager to join and support an independent music artist in managing day-to-day operations, career growth, and strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, strong organizational skills, and a passion for artist development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the artist in scheduling and managing appointments, studio sessions, and promotional events
  • Coordinate with record labels, booking agents, promoters, and other industry contacts
  • Assist with marketing, social media strategies, and branding initiatives
  • Handle communications and negotiations on behalf of the artist
  • Oversee tour planning, logistics, and budgeting
  • Help identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
  • Manage administrative duties such as contracts, payments, and reporting
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor industry trends to keep the artist competitive and relevant

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience working in the music industry, ideally with independent artists
  • Strong network of contacts in the music business is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Passionate about music and artist development
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to travel as required
