Night Auditor – Join Our Front Office Team

Are you a night owl with a knack for numbers and a passion for hospitality? We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team and be the face of the hotel after hours.

Location: Lord Charles hotel

Shift: Full-time Overnight (23:00 to 07:00)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in late-arriving guests professionally and courteously.
• Address guest requests, complaints, and emergencies with efficiency and care.
• Complete nightly audit of hotel financials, reconciling daily revenues and room charges.
• Post room charges, taxes, and other applicable fees to guest accounts.
• Verify billing accuracy and ensure correct payment methods are recorded.
• Prepare and distribute daily management reports summarizing hotel performance.
• Reconcile hotel payments and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor property safety and security throughout the night shift.
• Set up the breakfast area or assist with handover to morning staff.
• Ensure hotel systems are correctly rolled over to the next business day.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma (required); accounting coursework or hospitality studies (preferred)
• Experience in front desk operations or bookkeeping (advantageous)
• Familiarity with hotel software systems such as Opera or other PMS platforms
• Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work without supervision
• Detail-oriented and calm under pressure
