**Night Auditor - Join Our Front Office Team**

Are you a night owl with a knack for numbers and a passion for hospitality? We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Night Auditor** to join our team and be the face of the hotel after hours.

**Location**: Lord Charles hotel
**Shift**: Overnight | Full-time (23:00 to 07:00)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check in late-arriving guests professionally and courteously.
- Address guest requests, complaints, and emergencies with efficiency and care.
- Complete nightly audit of hotel financials, reconciling daily revenues and room charges.
- Post room charges, taxes, and other applicable fees to guest accounts.
- Verify billing accuracy and ensure correct payment methods are recorded.
- Prepare and distribute daily management reports summarizing hotel performance.
- Reconcile hotel payments and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor property safety and security throughout the night shift.
- Set up the breakfast area or assist with handover to morning staff.
- Ensure hotel systems are correctly rolled over to the next business day.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- High school diploma (required); accounting coursework or hospitality studies (preferred)
- Experience in front desk operations or bookkeeping (advantageous)
- Familiarity with hotel software systems such as Opera or other PMS platforms
- Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work without supervision
- Detail-oriented and calm under pressure
