he Role: Affiliate Specialist
We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Affiliate Specialist to join our client's
growing team. This full-time, remote role is ideal for someone at a junior to mid-level stage in
their career who thrives in community building, enjoys outreach, and is excited about
contributing directly to revenue growth.
You will play a key role in expanding their network of referral partners across the events
ecosystem and adjacent industries. This is a chance to join a dynamic organisation where
your ideas matter, your work has real impact, and you'll help shape a fast-growing program
from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Source, identify, and onboard individual referrers—including freelance and in-house
event planners, executive assistants, event professionals, and speakers.
- Run consistent outbound outreach across LinkedIn, email, phone, and online
communities to build a strong pipeline of referral partners.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships through regular, valuable
communication—sharing trends, opportunities, and updates.
- Create simple, scalable playbooks for messaging, follow-ups, content, and activation
campaigns.
- Oversee referral tracking, ensuring accurate attribution and timely payouts.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and build helpful
enablement materials for referrers.
- Leverage speaker relationships, encouraging talent to share booking links and
recommendations within their networks.
What You Bring
- A sales-oriented mindset with resilience and confidence in high-volume outreach.
- Natural relationship-building abilities and a passion for building engaged
communities.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and a metrics-driven approach.
- Comfortable prospecting and networking in digital spaces—from LinkedIn to niche
communities.
- Experience in the events industry is a plus, but not required.
Success Looks Like
- Growing the number of active referral partners.
- Increasing the volume and value of qualified referred briefs/bookings.
- Improving conversion and repeat referral rates.
- Ensuring reliable attribution, smooth processes, and timely payouts.
You'll Be Supported By
- Direct reporting to the Head of Marketing.
- Existing core systems, with room for you to refine language, cadences, and outreach
strategies.
