We are seeking
experienced Senior and Junior Bookkeepers

to join our team based in
Cape Town (CBD)

.

Preference will be given to candidates

with experience in
Pastel Accounting

and strong
Balance Sheet

knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record transactions accurately in journals and post to relevant ledger accounts using Pastel.
  • Prepare trial balances, balance sheets, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Balance inter-company accounts.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Prepare cash books and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare complete management accounts for managerial review.
  • Compile final year-end accounts with audit schedules/packs.
  • Handle VAT, PAYE, SDL, and UIF submissions.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in
    Pastel Accounting
    and
    MS Office (especially Excel)
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    accounting principles
    and
    financial reporting
    .
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
