Assessment Coordinator

Eduvos is seeking to employe the services of an Assessment Coordinator based at our Pretoria campuses.
Purpose of the role :
- To support the coordinated implementation, tracking and reporting of DFL assessment-related processe
Position Type:
- Fixed Term Contract
Educational Requirements:
- Higher Certificate in relevant field
- Relevant Business / Education Degree will be an advantage
Minimum Experience:
- At least three years' experience in a coordination/project management role; previous experience in a Higher Education / Assessment environment will be an advantage. Experience working with assessment/training-related/proctoring software will be an advantage.
Coordinate the assessment development and moderation processes s and provide consolidated feedback
- Set clear timelines and release schedules accordingly
- Monitor the DFL's assessment timelines
- Ensure timeous feedback to relevant parties
Release of relevant assessments at predetermined intervals
- Source assessments briefs from Faculties
- Conduct basic checks on DFL's assessment readiness
- Review assessments on relevant platforms (Gradebook / paper-based)
Co-ordinate assessment query process on a daily basis
- Continues monitoring of incoming queries
- Distribution of queries to relevant parties for resolution
- Monitor responses to queries and follow-up where queries are not resolved
- Distribute query responses appropriately
- Refer training requests to relevant DFL/Eduvos role-players
Conduct checks on quality of online assessment system
- Check for relevant alignment between module briefs and gradebook set-ups
- Check assessment availability against assessment schedule
- Provide administrative support to online assessment system users
Deliver on ad hoc projects/tasks as required (e.g. module mapping per year /block)
Functional and Behavioural CompetenciesFunctional Competencies:
- Computer Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel
- Proficiency in Moodle or similar LMS
- Very detail orientated; an eye for accuracy is a key requirement
