Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong technical expertise in data warehousing, ETL, SQL, and data visualization, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to support business decisions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from relational databases.
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data transformation and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data governance.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis to improve business performance.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders, ensuring complex data is communicated effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, BI technologies, and best practices.
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong business acumen to align data insights with strategic goals.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and predictive analytics is a plus.
