Role Overview

We are seeking a
Growth Manager
to lead PlusBase's expansion in the South African market. This role is best suited for someone with
hands-on ecommerce experience in dropshipping or Print On Demand
who is ready to leverage their expertise to grow a community of sellers.

Community building and personal branding are
not prerequisites
. You bring the ecommerce expertise, and our growth team will support you in building visibility, influence, and a trusted seller network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Seller Acquisition
    : Use your experience as a seller to identify, engage, and onboard new merchants.
  • Seller Development
    : Mentor and guide new sellers on how to succeed with ShopBase/PlusBase.
  • Market Expansion
    : Drive adoption in your region by leveraging your ecommerce know-how.
  • Partnerships
    : Collaborate with affiliates, influencers, and partners to expand reach.
  • Visibility Growth (with our support)
    : Co-create content, join livestreams, and strengthen your community presence with dedicated resources from our team.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential
    : Proven track record in ecommerce, specifically dropshipping or print-on-demand.
  • Direct experience running or scaling online stores.
  • Strong understanding of seller pain points and how to solve them.
  • Ability to connect with and earn trust from other sellers.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and excited about scaling new markets.

Community growth experience is a bonus but not required — we'll help you build it.
