Position available in ALBERTON for a technician to test, install, commission, service generator sets.

REQUIREMENTS

· Trade qualification advantageous. (Preferably Electrical/Millwright)

· Experienced in maintaining and repairing of generators with minimum four years working in a similar role.

· Strong Electrical background with the ability to do Electrical Diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines.

· Must be switch gear / change over compliant.

· Mechanically skilled.

· Must be well versed with Generator controller and synchronizing of Gensets - Experience with Deep Sea controllers advantageous.

· Must be able to perform accurate quality checks and complete all related paperwork thoroughly and neatly.

· Valid SA driver's licence.

· Must be a South African citizen.

· Physically fit perform daily task (standing for long hours, reaching, bending, lifting)

· Safety orientated.

· Excellent skills on managing workload and time.

· Good communication skills.

· Must reside in Ekurhuleni or able to relocate prior to starting employment.

· Willing to travel for breakdowns.

· Willing to work after hours and on weekends/Public Holidays and Standby.
