The Senior Project Manager will take projects, run, implement and manage client and staff to fulfil the client requirements.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the overall Project Deployment function which includes (but not limited to):

  • Managing the deployment of project deliverables
  • Tracking and reporting on project milestones
  • Managing equipment projections for projects
  • Scheduling installations as required with relevant role players.

Resource Scheduling, which includes (but not limited to):

  • Scheduling calls using the internal system.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying and resolving issues impending on project delivery, which includes (but not limited to):
  • Collecting input from all stakeholders to identify and address risks that have evolved into issues.
  • Managing the execution of all rollout plans to proactively prevent issues from escalating and, if necessary, seek additional assistance
  • Ensuring comprehensive information gathering and the identification of actionable steps to explore various ideas for resolution.

Implement best practice project management tools, which includes (but not limited to):

  • Regularly assessing the performance of project management tools and recommend improvements or updates as needed.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and customize tools accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for project management processes and tool usage guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a 3- or 4-year Project Management Qualification at a recognised Higher Learning Institution
  • Should have at least 5-8 years proven work experience as a Project Manager in an IT Environment.
  • Knowledge of system/industry best practice
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of client core business culture and needs
  • Understanding of retail advantageous
