To recruit, maintain, develop sales representative and set targets within Cornerstone Regions.

  1. Plan and Implement Sales plan at Regional level

  2. Develop sales plan to attain set goals/targets

  3. Communicate the sales plan to sales teams
  4. Identify & agree on individual roles and responsibilities
  5. Recruit resources according to HR Plan
  6. Plan for infrastructure requirements – vehicles, offices, furniture, policy books, etc
  7. Participate in Provincial budgeting process
  8. Implement & monitor company policies & procedures
  9. Manage sales staff performance monthly
  10. Evaluate progress against goals monthly
  11. Prepare monthly management report

  12. Expense Budget

  13. Monitor expenses against budget

  14. Track deviation, investigate reasons & recommend corrective action
  15. Assist with management of monitoring petty-cash requisitions
  16. Prepare management report on deviations

  17. Develop & Sustain Customer & Stakeholder relations

  18. Intervene on customer queries & concerns

  19. Understand impact of stakeholder policies on regional business
  20. Deploy the correct interactions and processes

  21. Communication management

  22. Stakeholder analysis (who's who?)

  23. Knowledge of different markets
  24. Company themes/message

  25. Manage Regional Office, Administration & Client Services

  26. Manage regional sales force – recruitment, selection, training & development, performance management, etc.

  27. Visits to districts/sites
  28. Ensure that branch offices project the required image of Cornerstone
  29. Oversee the regional administrative activities
  30. Liaise with provincial administration on training needs & support
  31. Assist with client services and oversee sales staff & offices

FORMAL EDUCATION

  • Matric
  • Relevant Qualification (recognised by the FSCA)

?TECHNICAL/LEGAL CERTIFICATION

  • Regulatory Examination Level 5: Representatives as an advantage
  • Regulatory Examination Level 1: Key Individuals as an advantage
  • 30 or 60 credits on NQF level 2 (Depending on the date of appointment in the industry) or
  • 60 or 120 credits on NQF level 5 (Depending on the date of appointment in the industry)

?EXPERIENCE

  • 1year relevant management experience (Managing Financial Advisors)
  • 6 months Insurance industry
  • Atleast 6 months advice and intermediary experience in category A (Assistance business)
