ADMO Holdings, founded in 1988 by Piet and Dot Fourie, is a recognized provider in the supply and manufacture of fabricated components for the mining industry and various other sectors. Known for our expertise in manufacturing engineering, steel, stainless steel, and other materials' fabrication, as well as machining of components, we continually strive to enhance process efficiency, flexibility, and quality. Our commitment is to eliminate waste and maintain a 100% on-time delivery policy. With ongoing investments in facilities, equipment, and personnel, we can manage an average of 250 tons of finished products per month. In December 2024, a management buy out occurred. The new CEO and Financial Director, and owners are Martin H Lewis and Tremyne Naidoo, respectively.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Fabrication Estimator located in Brakpan. The Steel Fabrication Estimator will be responsible for analysing project specifications and drawings, preparing detailed cost estimates, coordinating with the engineering and production teams, and ensuring that all estimates are accurate and submitted within the required timelines. The role involves assessing material and labour costs, sourcing suppliers, and maintaining effective communication with clients to address any concerns or adjustments to the project scope.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel industry, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience as a Fabrication Estimator
  • Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication, including steel and stainless steel
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and analysis
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification preferred
  • Able to read and interpret Fabrication drawings
  • Familiar with industry standards and pricing trends for steel, welding, and related materials
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in Brakpan
