Group Accountant
Location: Middelburg
Industry: Automotive

As the Group Accountant, you will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and lead budgeting and forecasting processes. You'll manage consolidations, cash flow, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial operations across multiple branches.
  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee payments and maintain reliable cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle consolidations and inter-branch transactions.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and group reporting.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles with variance analysis.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • CA(SA) with minimum 1 year post-articles OR BCom Accounting/Finance (Honours or higher) with 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and strong financial modelling capabilities.
  • Experience with dealership management systems (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Knowledge of taxation, compliance, and financial controls.
