Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify new sales opportunities through research, networking, cold calling, and visiting potential clients.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts to maximize revenue.
- Develop sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other partners.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to secure repeat business.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client concerns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
- Recommend promotional strategies and market positioning to enhance hotel visibility.
- Work closely with the events, reservations, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate with marketing to support promotional campaigns and sales materials.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the hotel.
- Maintain accurate client records using CRM systems.
- Prepare contracts, rate agreements, and sales documents.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and pricing guidelines.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Additional certifications in sales, hospitality, or customer relationship management are an advantage.
- 1–3 years' experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or corporate/business development roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing corporate accounts, event bookings, or travel partnerships preferred.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into revenue.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable with networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-based environment.
