Role Overview:
The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving Blok's property sales through expert client engagement, relationship management, and deep knowledge of the Cape Town property market. The role manages the full sales cycle from lead generation to handover, ensuring that each client receives personalised, informed, and premium service.
By combining commercial insight, analytical thinking, and relationship-building capability, the Sales Consultant contributes directly to Blok's revenue growth and brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and convert qualified leads into successful property sales.
- Manage all sales opportunities through Salesforce CRM with complete and accurate data.
- Manage the full sales cycle including offers to purchase, finance applications, FICA, deal administration, and handovers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers, investors, and repeat clients.
- Provide expert advice on investment returns, capital growth, and rental yields.
- Support existing owners with resale opportunities and rental assessments.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Blok's brand standards.
- Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and buyer trends to support development and pricing decisions.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless client journey.

Technical Competencies:
- Advanced understanding of real estate sales processes and deal structuring.
- Strong negotiation and closing capability.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to analyse financial data including capital growth, rental yields, and ROI.
- Strong documentation and contract accuracy.
- Sales pipeline forecasting and reporting.
- Lead funnel management and conversion tracking.
- Market intelligence gathering and competitor analysis.
- Digital lead management and CRM data integrity.
- Microsoft Office and Notion proficiency for reporting and investment analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in high-value property sales or investment advisory.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Established network of buyers and investors in Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard and City Bowl.
- Strong knowledge of property sales processes, transfer procedures, and financing structures.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and digital lead management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Notion skills for analysis and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of the Cape Town residential property market.
Role Reports to: Head of Sales & Business Development
Based in: Cape Town
Market related compensation (basic salary + commission)
