Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across key sectors (machining/fabrication, SOEs, academia, automotive, etc.)
  • Engage clients in technical consultations to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Prepare and present quotations, tenders, and proposals
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales support, service, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend industry expos, client meetings, and site visits
  • Update CRM (PipeDrive/Salesforce) regularly and accurately
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 1-2 years' experience in technical sales (preferably in machine tools, CNCs, or industrial equipment)
  • Experience selling capital equipment or CNC machines
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing or machining processes
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Familiarity with CRM
  • Existing client network in mining, fabrication, or academia sectors
