The Role: Chemical Engineer

This role exists to design, implement and optimise chemical processes that improve operational efficiency and safety in a manufacturing setting. The focus is on analysing production systems, resolving technical challenges, and contributing to process improvements aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a chemical engineering role

  • Design and optimise chemical processes for manufacturing operations

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production process issues

  • Monitor and improve efficiency, output, and safety in plant operations

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements

About You

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering

  • At least 2 years of relevant industry experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards and process compliance

  • Hands-on approach with attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and within a team in a high-pressure environment
