Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Metallurgical Laboratory Technician - Mining Location: Mpumalanga Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Summary: Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician to join their mining team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting metallurgical testing and analysis to support our mining operations. This role will involve running various laboratory experiments, collecting data, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity in our mining processes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct metallurgical testing on samples collected from mining operations. Prepare samples for analysis using various laboratory equipment and tools. Perform chemical and physical analysis of samples to determine composition and properties. Interpret and analyze test results to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Maintain accurate records of test results and data for reporting purposes. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and find innovative solutions. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the laboratory. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Previous experience working in a metallurgical laboratory, preferably in the mining industry. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques for metallurgical testing. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
