About Us

We are on the hunt for a
Legal Recruiter
to join our client's team.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Legal Recruiter, you will build and manage a portfolio of clients (law firms, in-house legal teams) and legal candidates (paralegals, legal executives, solicitors, associates, partners). You will be responsible for sourcing, placing and developing long-term relationships that drive revenue and deliver excellent service to clients and candidates alike.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and oversee talent within the legal market (by region or practice area) – build relationships with legal firms and in-house legal teams to identify hiring needs.
Lead business development efforts: proactively generate new client opportunities, manage client meetings, understand client hiring needs, craft recruitment solutions.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: source and attract legal candidates, screen and assess suitability, present shortlists to clients, coordinate interviews, manage offers and placements.
Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of legal talent through proactive headhunting, networking, database and other sourcing channels.
Use the company's recruitment technology and database efficiently to log activity, track candidates and clients, manage metrics and contribute to desk targets.
Provide excellent candidate care and client service: counsel and advise candidates on market opportunities, interview preparation, salary negotiation; advise clients on market trends, candidate availability and hiring strategy.
Meet and exceed performance targets (fees, placements, revenue, activity metrics) while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Collaborate with the team and support functions (e.g., Resources, Operations) to optimise desk performance and share best practices.
Keep up-to-date with developments in the legal sector: practice areas, firm strategies, candidate markets, and salary trends.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in legal recruitment (or alternatively in professional services recruitment) or significant exposure to the legal sector.
Strong commercial acumen, sales mindset and ability to develop new business.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written), with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Ability to source and headhunt high-caliber legal professionals, build relationships and manage processes.
Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple assignments/clients/candidates simultaneously under pressure.
Comfortable with technology and data-driven tools (CRMs, recruitment databases, sourcing tools).
Resilient, self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently with autonomy.
Interest in, and knowledge of, the legal market (practice areas, firm structures) is strongly preferred.
Degree and equivalent work experience.
Where and how you can work
To be successful, you'll need to:
- Work on-site from our office
- Be willing to work non-traditional local office hours.
- Be excited about a global opportunity with an international company.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
