Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an
MRI Consultant
based in Johannesburg. The MRI Consultant serves as the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors. Responsibilities include managing appointments, assisting patients with bookings and preparation instructions, handling inquiries, processing referrals, ensuring accurate data capture, and coordinating with the radiographers and administrative team to ensure smooth workflow and an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a medical or healthcare reception/administrative role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Professional, patient-focused manner
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure
  • Computer literacy (medical practice software experience is an advantage)
  • Prior experience in a radiology or healthcare environment is preferred
