Role Description

We are seeking a Consulting Sales Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in the City of Cape Town. The role involves identifying and developing business opportunities, building relationships with dealers and consultants, and providing technical expertise and support. The Sales Engineer will demonstrate a consultative approach to meet customer needs, deliver effective presentations, and provide after-sales assistance. Additional responsibilities include preparing technical proposals and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Sales Engineering, with the ability to comprehend, design, and propose HVAC solutions.
  • Experience in providing Technical Support to clients, including troubleshooting and technical advice.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Background in Sales and Customer Service, with the ability to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on-site.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technical documentation practices is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in HVAC or a related industry is advantageous.
