An exciting opportunity exists for a recently qualified CA(SA
)
to join a highly respected financial services environment operating across multiple project companies. This role offers broad exposure across project finance, financial reporting, compliance, and operational oversight.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Reviewing monthly bookkeeping, management accounts, payroll (basic to complex).
- Preparing financial statements under IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
- Managing VAT, company tax, and resolving queries with SARS.
- Analysing project expenditure and variances.
- Overseeing contractual compliance and daily project administration.
- Liaising with project engineers and financial advisors.
- Assisting with budgets, financial models, group consolidations, and loan reconciliations.
- Writing up complex accounting records and maintaining accurate financial reporting across entities.
What We Are Looking For:
- Newly qualified CA(SA)
- Highly organised, detail-orientated individual who thrives in a project-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Experience with SARS correspondence beneficial.
- Exposure to mining/renewable energy sectors advantageous.
