Job Title: Customer Service Agent
Location: Cape Town
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join their Sales department team in Cape Town Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall customer experience and the smooth operation of the company's shipping processes.
Requirements:
- In possession of an appropriate tertiary qualification backed by hands-on experience in customer-facing roles
- Proficiency in export processes, including understanding SAD500, requesting shipping estimates from freight forwarders, placing bookings, and comprehending Incoterms
- Strong ALC benchmarking scores
- Strong problem-solving and solution-generation skills
- Experience with customer-related systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, integrity, and self-discipline
- Well-groomed and presentable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel
- Experience with Sypro
Key Deliverables:
- Receive and process customer orders, consignment stock orders, and manufacturing stock orders in line with standard operating procedures
- Track and manage customer orders throughout the entire process
- Ensure timely updates and excellent customer service
- Work closely with the Shipping Manager to ensure smooth order flow and delivery
