Key Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture and drive technical design decisions.
  • Define, implement, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business strategy.
  • Design, develop, and optimise platforms for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their relevance and business impact.
  • Participate in peer reviews of designs and code.
  • Drive continuous improvement in technical standards and solution quality.
  • Take full accountability for projects from inception to delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver robust, scalable, and secure digital solutions that enhance client experiences.

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom / BSc Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 7+ years' professional development experience.
  • Prior experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Leadership role.
  • Strong experience in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Expert understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • C# .NET
  • SQL Server 2012+
  • Modern JavaScript frameworks: Angular, Underscore, KnockoutJS, jQuery, BackboneJS, Foundation
  • ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC 2.0+ (Essential)
  • ASP.NET Core (Web API, Windows Services)
  • HTML5
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud PaaS exposure

  • Docker / Kubernetes
