Our client is looking seeking for a passionate and innovative Creative Designer to join the dynamic team.

Purpose of the job:
The Creative Designer will be responsible for a robust portfolio showcasing their expertise in graphic design, branding elements, and developing visually engaging concepts. The role involves collaborating with various departments to conceptualize and execute compelling designs that align with our brand identity and business goals. The incumbent is required to have strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate project requirements into compelling visual solutions across digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
  • Develop and design visual concepts for various media including print, digital, and social platforms.
  • Develop visually appealing layout designs for print and digital media, including magazines, brochures, websites, and advertisements.
  • Create compelling graphics, layouts, and branding materials that effectively communicate the intended message.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive creative ideas through brainstorming sessions.
  • Produce high-quality designs that meet project deadlines while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software tools to ensure innovative and fresh designs.
  • Conduct thorough research and develop concepts based on client or project needs.
  • Present design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a cohesive visual identity across all platforms and materials.
  • Choose appropriate fonts, colors, and graphics that enhance the overall design while maintaining readability and visual appeal.
  • Review layouts for any errors or inconsistencies, ensuring all elements are aligned and professionally presented.
  • Prepare final design files for print or digital use, ensuring they meet technical specifications for production.
  • Organize tasks and projects effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality in design work.
 Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Grade 12 (Matric) and/or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Creative Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
  • Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web design and UX/UI principles.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Ability to adapt and take on various design styles.
