Getclosure helps businesses understand what is happening online. Our team provides monitoring, insight and analytics services to leading local and international brands.

We are looking for a Media Insights Analyst to join our team focussed on international brands and media.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily media monitoring deliverables, incorporating international online, broadcast and social media results.

The candidate will work as part of a team, and must be able to contribute to developing and growing a business in a fast-changing environment.

We are looking for a team player with excellent language and analytical skills, good news judgement, and a strong understanding of international news media and social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience with media monitoring software (eg: Talkwalker, Brandwatch or Meltwater) is a non-negotiable requirement for this role;
  • Proven skill with Boolean search operators is required;
  • Previous experience managing clients over the phone and email would be a distinct advantage;
  • Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage);
  • Strong media literacy, and awareness of international news;
  • Ability to work to deadlines, accurately;
  • Willingness to work within a shift roster to meet deadlines;
  • Applicant must live in Cape Town.
