The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading and managing global sourcing and procurement operations to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at optimal cost and quality. The role serves as a critical link between the sales, operations, and fulfillment teams, ensuring alignment of procurement activities with business needs. The scope encompasses developing and executing international sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and leading a high-performing global sourcing team to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Build and nurture strong relationships with global vendors and key suppliers.
2. Evaluate and pre-qualify new suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and compliance standards.
3. Maintain active broker and supplier relationships and liaise for technical and commercial support.
4. Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's sourcing strategy.
5. Analyze market trends to optimize purchasing decisions and maximize order margin.
6. Review supplier contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure favorable terms and long-term partnership benefits.
7. Determine optimal purchasing methods considering cost, quality, delivery, and service efficiency.
8. Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery timelines.
9. Manage inventory systems and surplus stock decisions, including scrap/sell determinations.
10. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of procurement records, documentation, and reporting standards.
11. Act as a strategic link between sales and operations, providing product specifications to the fulfillment team and ensuring alignment with client needs.
12. Work with internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with business objectives.
13. Lead and develop a global team of sourcing specialists by setting clear goals and performance expectations.
14. Monitor workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and business continuity.
15. Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate training based on future needs and capability gaps.
16. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.
17. Generate and analyze KPIs and metrics to monitor procurement efficiency and drive improvements.
18. Conduct root cause analyses to resolve purchasing issues and streamline sourcing operations.
19. Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and quality assurance procedures.
20. Any tasks or responsibilities assigned in the future, as required by the business or management, shall be considered part of the scope of this position.

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of international sourcing or procurement experience in a technical or operational environment.
3. Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier contract management.
4. Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
5. Proficient in ERP and purchase order systems (Oracle, SAP, DEAR, IQ, or equivalent).
6. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
7. Professional or fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

9. Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in managing international or remote teams.
