Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Hospitality Financial Controller, located in Stellenbosch. The role involves overseeing financial operations within the hospitality sector, preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and managing financial reporting. The Financial Controller will ensure compliance with accounting standards, analyze financial performance, and provide strategic advice on financial management and planning. The role requires collaboration with key stakeholders and contributing to the financial success of the business.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and experience in Financial Reporting
  • Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
  • Comprehensive understanding of Finance, including budget management and forecasting
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) are advantageous
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Industry experience in hospitality finance will be a plus
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
