Accounting Clerk / Finance Assistant Permanent Position (Humansdorp)

An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Finance Assistant to join our clients finance team in Humansdorp on a permanent basis. This role focuses primarily on processing and administrative accounting tasks, providing vital support to the broader finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture and process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile creditors and debtors accounts.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and daily cashbook processing.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end procedures.
  • Assist the Finance team with general administrative and accounting duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Matric with a Bookkeeping or Accounting qualification (advantageous).
  • 13 years experience in a finance or accounting support role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data capturing.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
