Job Opportunity: Afrikaans Tutor (Part-Time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Afrikaans Tutor to join our growing team. If you have a strong command of Afrikaans, excellent communication skills, and a heart for education, this opportunity is for you

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or group Afrikaans tutoring to primary and/or high school learners.
• Support learners in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans based on learner needs.
• Assess learner progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment.
• Assist in learner improvement plans where necessary.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Afrikaans (written and spoken).
• Strong academic background in Afrikaans (minimum Grade 12; a tertiary qualification is advantageous).
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
