Job Opportunity: Sales Consultant – Hospitality and Events

Location: The Garden Venue Hotel, Johannesburg - North Riding, Randburg

The Garden Venue Hotel, one of Johannesburg's leading wedding and event destinations, is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Consultant
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves events, enjoys working with people and has a flair for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell and promote event packages to prospective clients.
  • Manage client inquiries, conduct venue tours and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close bookings while meeting monthly sales targets.
  • Liaise with operations and events teams to ensure seamless client handover.
  • Keep up to date with event trends to better advise clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales (hospitality and events).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Target-driven with proven ability to close sales.
  • Passion for events and hospitality.
  • Have worked on a sales CRM system.
  • 5+ years of experience in direct sales.
