OPERATIONS & FULFILLMENT ASSISTANT (with Delivery & Logistics Responsibilities)

Location: Brackenfell, Cape Town

We are looking for a reliable, organised, and hands-on Operations & Fulfillment Assistant to join our Brackenfell team.

This role is responsible for accurate order packing, timely deliveries, and assisting with daily warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, takes pride in neatness and organisation, and understands the importance of a clean and efficient warehouse.

You will ensure that every customer receives their order correctly, neatly packed, and in perfect condition, supporting our commitment to high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders neatly, accurately, and according to quality standards.
  • Ensure all items are correctly labelled, protected, and ready for dispatch.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to avoid packing errors.

Driving & Deliveries

  • Deliver customer orders timeously and professionally.
  • Ensure delivery routes are planned efficiently.
  • Represent the company positively during all customer interactions.

Warehouse Operations

  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and ensure all stock is kept in its allocated place.
  • Load and offload stock (must be physically fit).
  • Operate a forklift (advantageous if licensed).
  • Support stock-taking, cycle counts, and general stock accuracy.
  • Assist with ad hoc operational tasks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Matric certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Proven warehouse, operations, or stock-handling experience.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes.
  • Problem-solving attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
  • Computer literate and able to work on multiple software systems

(e.g. inventory systems, Excel, delivery apps).

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Forklift licence (advantage).
  • Non-smoker.
