Metal Plate Bender

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Metal Plate Bender, located in Brackenfell. The Metal Plate Bender will be responsible for operating and maintaining metal bending machinery, measuring and cutting metal plates accurately, and ensuring high-quality finished components. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, troubleshooting machines, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines. The Metal Plate Bender will also ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in operating metal bending machinery, including setup and maintenance
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and performing precise measurements
• Skills in troubleshooting equipment and ensuring product quality
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adhere to strict safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Prior experience in metal fabrication or a related field is highly desirable
• A vocational or technical qualification in metalwork, welding, or a related discipline is an advantage
