This is a secondment opportunity and the successful candidate will be based at Mediclinic Corporate Office Stellenbosch

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

This role is responsible for critical support to our business operations by analysing, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing proactive approaches to optimise processes during the core system replacement lifecycle. The Business Support Analyst also provides essential support during the implementation of system and process improvement projects, including hospital commissioning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Elicit business process and systems analysis
  • Coordinate and provide support to relevant role-players about the core system replacement project (CSP)
  • Identify and control system risks.
  • Compile and maintain business processes on the relevant system
  • To collaborate with stakeholders within the CSP environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

  • Relevant qualification in Business Process Analytics, or a qualification in a related field

DESIRED EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of private hospital experience and or business analysis, or a similar role.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years' experience in a business support or similar role, with 2-3 years in project implementatione
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Business Process in a private hospital
  • Mediclinic AS400 system
  • Excellent administration and coordination skills
  • Communication Skills – Verbal and Written
  • Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Gap analysis and system requirements
  • Business Process Mapping Tools (BPMN)
