MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide project management services for a variety of enterprise projects within Mediclinic by utilising the Mediclinic project management approach and methodology across the project stages of initiation, planning, execution and close out.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelors degree 
  • Professional Registration : Project Management Institute – Project Management Professional and/or Axelos – PRINCE 2 Practitioner

DESIRED EDUCATION: 

  • Project Management Training 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5 years project management experience;
  • 2 most recent years in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • 10 years project management experience;
  • 5 most recent years in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.
  • Experience in managing projects with stakeholders in multiple disciplines across an organisation
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Assess, improve and guide Mediclinic project management methodology
  • Design the project delivery approach
  • Manage and balance stakeholder demands to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Facilitate project initiation and planning
  • Manage and facilitate various activities throughout the project execution
  • Facilitate project close-out
  • Accomplish successful project delivery within the broader integrated project, change and benefits management requirements of the Business Performance department
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
MS Office suite (including MS Project and Viso) and other relevant computer software programmes (e.g. Project Portfolio Management software) Project management principles, processes, tools, techniques and applications Project management and delivery within a larger enterprise project portfolio management context Change management principles and applications Prince II standards Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management Software development cycle Cost control and budgeting principles
