Travel Tractions / The Marketing Mill is looking for a talented and skilled Social Media Video Editor to assist in a part-time role with the potential to move to full-time.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media marketing, video editing and production. They should have a portfolio of past work and at least two years of video or social media experience.
This is a remote job, so candidates can apply from anywhere.
Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, splicing, and synchronizing footage, adding sound effects, music, text and info/graphics.
Craft compelling narratives and visual stories that effectively communicate our brand message and resonate with our audience.
Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
Manage the agency's social media accounts and engage with followers.
Analyse social media data to track campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Produce scheduled high-quality video content for the agency's website, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, film production, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Two+ years of experience in social media marketing.
Two+ years of experience in video editing and production.
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects, including examples of motion graphics and storytelling.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms.
Excellent writing, editing, and graphic design skills.
Creative and innovative mindset.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for travel and tourism.
