Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager for their Agriculture industry division in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the agriculture sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agriculture industry in Gauteng.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry players, including farmers, suppliers, distributors, and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and products to address customer requirements.
  • Lead sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market trends to the management team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies related to the agriculture sector.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the agriculture industry.
  • Solid understanding of the agriculture industry, including knowledge of crops, farming practices, supply chain, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets within the agriculture sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license.
