South Africa Wine (the unified representative body for the SA wine and brandy industry) is seeking to fill a key middle management role:

Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a South African professional with 5-8 years of experience to make a significant impact on a vital South African industry.

Role: Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator

Remuneration:

Reporting to the Manager: Policy, Market Access & Stakeholder Engagement, where you will be responsible for supporting industry advocacy, government liaison, and policy analysis. This role

combines operational execution with independent responsibility for specific portfolios.

Key Responsibilities Include:

● Monitoring and analysing policy developments (from liquor policy and excise to logistics and sustainability).

● Drafting briefing documents, submissions, and position papers.

● Supporting relationship management with government departments and industry partners.

● Contributing to domestic and export market access initiatives.

We are looking for someone with:

● 5-8 years of experience in industry affairs, government relations, or corporate communications.

● Essential experience within the agricultural or beverage sectors.

● A strong understanding of South African government structures and policy frameworks.

● A relevant degree (Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, or Business).

● Excellent analytical and communication skills.
