Are you a recent graduate in industrial or manufacturing engineering with a passion for business performance improvement and business optimisation? We are looking for a passionate and driven Graduate Business Optimisation Engineer to join our growing team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate is an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering graduate (within the last year) who is eager to apply engineering principles to optimise business systems, enhance operational efficiency, and support continuous improvement across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analysing and optimising production, manufacturing and business processes.
  • Participate in deployment of Business Operating Models.
  • Support the implementation of performance improvement and digital transformation projects.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement practical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and performance reports.
  • Participate in client site visits and workshops both locally and internationally.
  • Facilitate the implementation of focused improvement Business Optimisation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement BO tools such as value driver models, Process capability and Stability analysis, process simulations tools, value stream maps, TOC production flow models

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (graduated within the last 12 months).
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, data analysis tools including Power BI.
  • Knowledge of process simulation tools such as Arena, Monte Carlo etc
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as project needs arise.
  • Must be a South African Citizen or Permanent Resident.
