Foundation Phase Educator (SGB) Boundary Primary School, Bonteheuwel

The SGB seeks the services of a Foundation Phase Educator (SGB Fixed-Term Contract)

Start Date: 14 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

Location: Boundary Primary School, Bonteheuwel

Boundary Primary School, in collaboration with Common Good (Collaboration: School Operating Partner), is seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation Phase Educator committed to nurturing young learners in a supportive, stimulating and developmentally appropriate environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of early childhood education and a commitment to fostering holistic learner development—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

· Teach the Foundation Phase curriculum

· Plan lessons, assess learner progress, and complete required reports (All curriculum requirements)

· Create a positive and supportive classroom environment (Effectively manage learners in your care)

· Support learners' academic, social, and emotional development

· Participate in school and extra-/co-curricular activities

· Demonstrate willingness to be mentored or coached

· Engage actively in school ethos and development programmes

Requirements:

· Foundation Phase teaching qualification – Gr 1 - 3

· SACE certificate / registration

· A minimum of 3 years teaching experience is advantageous

· Strong communication and organisational skills

· Genuine passion for early childhood education
