Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Manager located in Umhlanga. The Catering Manager will oversee a halaal food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing catering activities, supervising food preparation, maintaining inventory, coordinating with staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves planning menus that align with dietary and event-specific needs, while managing the efficient delivery of high-quality food and beverage services.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Catering and Food Service operations
  • Experience in Food & Beverage management, including menu planning and execution
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to create positive dining experiences
  • Proficiency in Cooking and preparation techniques
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • A degree or dilpoma in food and beverade or culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is advantageous
