Working Hours: 2pm – 10pm

Position Overview:

The Senior KYC Analyst – Fund Closing will support the efficient running of the KYC service by executing the duties of the role diligently and professionally. They will support and foster friendly interpersonal relationships at all levels and assist in the creation and continued growth of Sonata One.

Responsibilities:

People

• Work efficiently, Independently and accurately within defined processes within the KYC service line.
• Proactively identify
• Confidently communicate with clients and investors over the phone and email.

Process

• Understand and follow all current processes, suggesting process and system improvements to maximize efficiency.
• Confidently review the adequacy and appropriateness of investor profiles and structures and to make a sound reasoned judgement, based on knowledge.
• Work independently on investor profile reviews and proactively collaborate with peers to resolve issues.
• Escalate screening hits as per our process to the relevant MLROs and compliance teams.
• Improve quality and efficiency of outputs by handling moderately complex reviews and suggesting process enhancements

System

• Support the use of technology in all processes to control risk and improve efficiency.
• Understand the system design and how it is applied.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sonata One process maps and guides, and demonstrate understanding of how the platform supports these processes.

Qualifications:

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of KYC/ Due Diligence and an understanding of complex structures in the Fund world.
• Proactive and organized, working efficiently, independently and accurately within the defined processes.
• Self-starting with excellent communication and capable of working with light supervision.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in the Finance Industry is advantageous.
• Previous knowledge of Corporate Structures is advantageous.
