As a BIBA, you will play a central role in understanding business needs, translating them into BI requirements, and guiding BI teams in delivering high-quality data solutions. You'll work across the full
Data Product Lifecycle,
from requirements and modelling to
testing
, deployment, and user enablement.
What You'll Be Doing
Requirements Definition
- Engage end users to understand data, reporting, and analysis needs
- Identify and assess data sources
- Coordinate BI prototypes and gather feedback
- Document Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and output requirements
Data Profiling & Scope Definition
- Analyse business information needs
- Work with production data to validate requirements
- Map requirements to data models
- Define business rules & validate hierarchies
Design & Development Support
- Collaborate with architects to translate requirements into technical specs
- Identify transformation rules and design access structures
- Provide hands-on support to development teams
Testing
& Deployment
- Plan and execute acceptance
testing - Facilitate UAT
- Support change management, user training, and documentation
- Assist users in finding and leveraging the right data
