Company Description

CFAM Technologies, a manufacturer of world-class food and feed processing equipment is looking for a Food & Feed Extrusion Technician. We are passionate about food security and enable communities to utilize locally produced agricultural products to support food security through extrusion technology. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated individual to join our team.

Job Description
  • Checking raw material quality for compliance  
  • Prepping extrusion machinery for product development and/or production
  • Operating extrusion machinery such as Food Extruder
  • Install, connect, test, and adjust equipment as needed
  • Checking for product quality and ensuring the process is compliant 
  • Conduct product analysis
  • Writing of extrusion technology reports
  • Do recipe formulations for extrusion processes
  • Maintaining the extrusion equipment
  • Trouble shooting on product defect/non-compliance with quality standards
  • Corrective actions for machinery not operating in good condition
  • Be willing to travel for commissioning of extrusion plants
Qualifications
  • Degree in Consumer Sciences / Food Technology as an added advantage
  • 2 years experience in Food / Feed Extrusion Technology
  • Experience in Operating Extruder and/or extrusion plants
  • Knowledge of Food/Feed Product Development
  • Knowledge of procurement of food and feed extrusion raw materials
  • Knowledge of food safety
