We're Hiring: Early Childhood Head Teacher (Pre-Primary)

Are you a passionate and experienced early childhood educator ready to lead with heart and purpose? We're looking for a dedicated Early Years Head Teacher to guide our pre-primary class of young learners at Jacaranda International Pre-Primary and School for 2026

In this key role, you'll lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. With the support of a team of teaching assistants, you'll create a nurturing and stimulating environment where curiosity thrives, confidence blooms, and every child feels seen and celebrated.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Learning: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the British International Curriculum—fostering early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and creativity.
  • Create a Safe Environment: Establish a warm, inclusive classroom that invites exploration, play, and meaningful connection.
  • Support Growth: Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Build Connections with Families: Maintain strong, open communication with parents and guardians—sharing updates, celebrating achievements, and working together to support each child's development.

What You Bring:

  • A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (or similar)
  • A valid police clearance certificate
  • A PAYE Registration Number
  • A valid Driver's License and own transport
  • Own personal computer/laptop
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in leading a pre-primary or early years class
  • A strong grasp of the British International Curriculum (or willingness to learn)
  • A nurturing spirit, creativity, and strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
