Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a similar environment
  • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas [NQF Level 07] in Mathematical Sciences

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct life actuarial valuations, including experience investigations, assumption setting, prudential and IFRS reserving and reporting, scenario testing and forecasting, analyses of surplus, and value-of-new-business calculations
  • Streamline and enhance various processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Present insights to management and the broader business, actively participating in discussions to facilitate the execution of the business strategy
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the Company to develop solutions that add significant business value
  • Assist in improving governance and control within the Actuarial and Risk departments
