Senior Actuarial Analyst

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelors degree in Actuarial or Business Science
  • At least 6 actuarial exams
  • At least three years of work experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of reserving
  • Understanding of life actuarial modelling
  • Some life insurance product knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the local team lead and the modelling team in Singapore to set up the Valua‐tion model locally.
  • Assist with Model and Assumption Updates
  • Assist valuation team with quarterly valuation production runs
  • Ad hoc investigations into new business assumptions and profitability analyses
  • Regular maintenance and spot checking exercises
  • Mentorship of graduate trainees
