Maintenance Engineer

Your areas of responsibility:
- Coordination of maintenance employees and contractors in the performance of maintenances tasks.
- Development and execution of Plant Maintenance strategy to ensure plant reliability, regulatory compliance and good quality manufacturing practices while maintaining safe working conditions.
- Appointment to GMR 2(7) and assist the Maintenance Manager in execution of legal compliance interventions.
- Support the production teams in delivery of the production plan, to ensure good quality products are delivered to the customer on time and in full.
- Lead problem solving efforts and Maintenance projects to improve plant performance.
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSc, BEng or BTech) or similar.
- 5 to 10 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge of maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation hardware.
