Project Engineer
, where you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts across projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of mechanical, steelwork, platework, tanks, and multi-disciplinary packages. You'll facilitate collaboration across engineering disciplines and oversee procurement and contractor management from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and implement project specifications and equipment schedules
  • Lead design and engineering coordination
  • Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships
  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance
  • Control project changes, budgets, and timelines
  • Drive project delivery aligned with strategic goals

Qualifications

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience

  • 5–10 years in the mining industry, with proven project engineering expertise

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Office Suite
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Commercial acumen and budgeting proficiency
  • Skilled negotiator and problem solver
  • Ability to interpret 2D drawings and navigate 3D review software
